What better way to finish the competitive season than a hill climb up Ditchling Beacon?
Sunday 30 October 2016
A mega impressive prize list with some hugely generous sponsors.
With Mens, Ladies and Tandem events there are some seriously fast people here for the last time trials of the season in Sussex. |
Sunday 23 October 2016
A high quality field with many riders opting to do both the ESCA Hill Climb and this event on the same day.
Saturday 15 October 2016
An influx of riders from out of the area looks to pose some serious challenges for the honours.
Saturday 15 October 2016
A Gentlemen’s Grand Prix is for teams comprising one veteran and one other rider. The veteran is paced round the course by his partner but may overtake 200 yards before the line. Two veterans may form a team but one must be pacer and one the nominated veteran. With the exception of fastest team on actual, all results are based on current VTTA standard time for the paced rider.
Always hard to predict, but as always it should be great fun. Super prize list too. |
Sunday 2 October 2016
More riders than last year, and an enforced change of headquarters. With neither of last season's top two (James Lowden and Pete Tadros) in the entries there's going to be a new champion.
Saturday 1 October 2016
A full field of 120 riders with the super-quick James Boyman (Farnham RC) as last man off. There are lots of other quality riders too so this one should be good.

Expecting a close run thing here with Rob Sharland (Paceline RT) and Chris McNamara (Nuun-Sigma Sport-London RT) in the mix.
Saturday 17 September 2016
Pete Tadros of In-Gear Quickvit Trainsharp RT is looking for a win here as he is last man off.
Saturday 3 September 2016
Well this should be interesting. The bumpy country lane multi-circuit 25 has attracted a seriously fast field. All of the 0's and 5's could be expected to win in other events so there are going to be some quality riders who don't make it onto the podium.
Monday 29 August 2016
James Copeland of Fareham Wheelers is top seed. No official start sheets produced.
Sunday 28 August 2016

Nearly 100 entries for this 25, with a liberal sprinkling of star riders. Even the 5's are super quick. Nick Dwyer of Lewes Wanderers CC is seeded as last man off, but he will face strong opposition not least from the highly impresive Alex Napier of Blazing Saddles.

Sunday 31 July 2016
Another chance for people to ride the course that is to be used to the 2016 National 10.

A good sized entry for the Saturday 10, with the super quick James Boyman of Farnham RC heading the field.

With Pete Tadros of In-Gear Quickvit Trainsharp RT in the line-up the real question must be who will finish in second place behind him? Gina McGeever looks like the strong favourite for the ladies' prize.
Saturday 26 March 2016
Here's hoping for better luck than last season when despite the best endeavours of the organisers two separate attempts to run the event were ruined by poor weather and pop-up roadwork traffic lights and there was no racing.
Simon McNamara of South Downs Bikes is the last rider away and will be the man to beat. |
Friday 25 March 2016
