Outside of the Sussex area - but loads of Sussex riders on the start list (so it's included here for interest).
Despite a 150 card the event is still massively over-subscribed with a full reserve list and many unsuccessful applicants. |
H25/8

A good sized entry, with Pete Tadros and Connall Yates heading the field.

A welcome new event on the calendar.
Saturday 25 July 2015
Another event with a seriously fast field, also at 30 second intervals.
P881r/10

Another hugely popular and over-subscribed event. Riders off on a Monday evening at 30 second intervals.
Monday 13 July 2015
Pete Tadros of In-Gear Quickvit Trainsharp RT heads the field for this well supported 10.
Saturday 11 July 2015
A high class field seeking to dethrone the defending champion Steve Kane of Team ASL360.
Sunday 5 July 2015
An excellent entry for this 10 with numbers well up on last year. The start list reads like a 'Who's Who' of Sussex racers so some super quick times are expected if the conditions are right.
Saturday 27 June 2015
Fast riders looking for even faster times as they go off at 30 second intervals.
This event is always massively over-subscribed. Even the reserves are super quick. |

Sunday 21 June 2015
The opener for the excellent Eastbourne Rovers CC traditional weekend programme.

A good entry for this 25, with Pete Tadros of In-Gear Quickvit Trainsharp RT the pre-race favourite.
Sunday 14 June 2015
Chris McNamara of Pedal Heaven heads the field of 52 riders on the Surrey Hills based dual carriageway course. It seems likely that Pedal Heaven will be battling it out with In-Gear Quickvit Trainsharp RT for the team honours.
Saturday 13 June 2015
SCA CHAMPIONSHIP 15
A disappointingly low entry for this inaugural championship at this distance. Mark Emsley of Team ASL/360 is the man with the weight of expectations on his shoulders as the fastest ranked rider. |
Saturday 13 June 2015
The 10 is just over the county border. The 25 starts in Sussex before heading off to Hampshire.
Lots of familiar names on the start sheets, and some real class in both fields. |
P885/25
P881/10 |

Saturday 13 June 2015 |
Stiff competition here with the zero men being Pete Tadros, Simon McNamara, Nick Dwyer, Steve Dennis, Tom Glandfield and Dave Pollard.

The big hitters in terms of participation are Eastbourne Rovers with 14 entrants, In-Gear Quickvit Trainsharp RT with 9, and Lewes Wanderers with 5. So the team winners are going to be one of those three clubs.
As for the individual event Pete Tadros of In-Gear Quickvit Trainsharp RT is the man to beat. |
Saturday 6 June 2015
James Lowden of Neon Velo is off last as the fastest ranked rider, but he will do well to hold off a strong challenge from several other quick men.
Sunday 31 May 2015
SCA CHAMPIONSHIP 30
Conall Yates or Simon McNamara? We shall find out on Bank Holiday Monday. |
Monday 25 May 2015
Brighton Mitre Hilly 10
One for the hard men - and those who like finishing behind Pete Tadros. |
Sunday 24 May 2015
Brighton Multi 10s
All sorts of events for pretty well everybody. Only Penny Farthings and Recumbents missing from the list!!! |
Sunday 24 May 2015
Worthing Excelsior 25
Virtually a full field for this event too with numbers picking up as hopefully the weather improves. |
Sunday 17 May 2015
SCCU 10
Last year this event had to be stopped in mid-flow as roadwork contractors out cones on the dual carriageway whilst riders were racing. The good news is that the prize money was held over so there's double for any successful competitors this time. The prolific Chris McNamara of Pedal Heaven heads the field. |
Saturday 16 May 2015
Norwood Paragon 25
A large entry for this. Pete Tadros is off last as the man to beat but there are some very fast riders in this event so it won't be easy. |
Sunday 10 May 2015
...a3crg 25
Another popular event from this club with a field of 107 headed by the super-quick Kevin Tye of VeloRefined Aerosmiths. |
P881/25
Saturday 9 May 2015
Old Portlians 10
A small but fast entry headed by Pete Tadros |
Saturday 9 May 2015
Sunday 3 May 2015
SCA CHAMPIONSHIP 10
Some seriously quick riders here for the dash to Shoreham and back. The start list reads like a Who's Who of Sussex time trial stars. Very tricky to predict as to who will prevail. |
Saturday 2 May 2015
Addiscombe CC 25
Watch out for the race headquarters for this one, and don't get caught out. |
Sunday 26 April 2015
SCA 2 Up Team Time Trial
Steve Kane and Pete Morris, the newly formed Team ASL360 pairing, are the main men in this event. Great to see 6 pairings from the newly affiliated SCA club Horsham Amphibians Tri. Sunderland Clarion and Wyndymilla are also represented so some more new names there too. Excellent! |
Sunday 19 April 2015
Redmon CC 25
Riders should get used to this course. It will be in use for 5 of the next 6 Sundays, and 10 times in total this season. Newly created because of road developments to the south of Horsham this replacement course is already under threat due to potential road developments to the north of Horsham. |
Sunday 12 April 2015
Brighton Mitre Hilly 25
Pete Tadros has won this event for each of the past six seasons, and ten times in total. He heads the field, but has some very stiff competition from Chris McNamara who has been unbeaten in time trials this season. |
Monday 6 April 2015
ESCA 2 Up Team Time Trial
Some super fast pairings here. Should be a good event. |
Sunday 5 April 2015
Brighton Mitre Hilly 10
Pete Tadros has won this event for each of the past six seasons, and seven times in total. Unsurprisingly he heads the field for this one. |
Saturday 4th April 2015
Crawley Wheelers Classic Sporting (41.59 miles)
Four prize sponsors, lots of quick riders, and a challenging lengthy classic time trial course on a Bank Holiday. Sounds like the place to be. |
Friday 3 April 2015
...a3crg Hurting on Harting (22.5 miles)
Definitely not events for the faint hearted; this programme includes road bikes, individual time trial and 2 up team time trial, plus a club event as well. So something for everyone. |
Sunday 29 March 2015
Southern Counties CU (Sporting) 25
This is being run on a new course due to the ongoing long term roadworks at Ockley. Essentially three laps of the sporting G10/46 course this is not for the faint hearted. Liam Maybank (Twickenham CC) is last man off. |
Sunday 22 March 2015
Southern Counties CU (Sporting) 10
Unbeaten so far this season Chris McNamara (Pedal Heaven) returns to time trial action and heads the field. |
Saturday 21 March 2015
ESCA 15.06m Hardriders
Pete Tadros heads the field for this one. Looks like Chris McNamara is taking a day off although brother Simon is there to fly the family banner. |
Sunday 15 March 2015
East Surrey Hardriders (29.9 miles)
Another early season hardriders event sees Liam Maybank of Twickenham CC head the field. If he is to justify that placing then he'll need to reverse his recent defeat by Chris McNamara in last week's SCA hardriders. Once again it is a high quality entry and there will be stiff competition from the likes of Rob Sharland and John Dewey. |
Sunday 8 March 2015
SCA Hardriders (22.8 miles)
Fresh from winning the star studded Redhill CC Sporting 18 Chris McNamara of Pedal Heaven heads the field for this hard riders event. Tom Glandfield of Lewes Wanderers CC and Pete Morris of Team ASL360 are the fastest ranked SCA affiliated riders in this SCA event. |
Sunday 1 March 2015
