SCA Hardriders
Steve Kane of Team TMC was the fastest Sussex rider and third overall showing consistency over the 2021 season. A close battle for the top spot with only 2 seconds separating Pat Wright riding for Paceline RT, from the winner Colin McDermott of Festival Road Club.

SCA Championship Hill Climb
A packed field of 51 riders completed the course with many travelling to Sussex ahead of the National HC at the end of the month. Suberb times from local competitors along with visitors, including Gabe Dellar who took the win with a rapid 04:14:58

SCA Sporting 25
Many of the riders from Saturday returned to the Loxwood course to test themselves on the 25. A good turnout in all categories for a dry day with not much wind.

The first event of the weekend promoted by Robin Johnson set the competition for the bank holiday off to a good start.

Tricky conditions made for challenging racing. Neil Harrigan Gemini BC the only rider to break 4hrs to take the win and Pip Jenkins led the way for the ladies taking honours for Southborough and District Wheelers

SCA Championship 50
Some excellent results from this event with Steve Kane taking the overall win. With his TEAM TMC riders Matthew Smith and Kevin Plummer they not only took the team prize but the team event record.

LWCC 30 Mile
Mark Smith is the winner of the Mick Burgess Cup for VTTA Surrey/Sussex 30-mile championship being fastest Vet and overall winner on this course from East Hoathly. Olivia Webb was fastest lady and added the team prize for Eastbourne Rovers with David Clements and David Clark

ESCA 50 Mile
One of the warmest days so far this season saw 43 riders take part. Sally Turner took first place in the ladies event and her coach Chris McNamara taking the win overall. Both with stunning rides and both setting new course records.

Wonderful warm, 16-20 degrees, and sunny morning with just a light northerly drift. Just four DNS and all riders looked happy |

SCA Team TT
After a warm still start to the day the windy cold conditions arrived giving a heavy head wind along the open A24 stretch of the course.
Considering the conditions times were very quick and very closely packed. The course record was on close to being improved with fasted time being delivered by Crawley pairing of Mark Smith and Kevin Nelson. The Road Bikes were exceptionally close too with Pacelines Paul Burton and Michael Cunliffe posting a time just 55 seconds slower. |
