GENERAL INFORMATION

Background

The Sussex Cyclists’ Association run a series of Time Trial events throughout the year. First claim members of affiliated clubs may compete for a variety of awards within a range of competitions. Association awards are presented at the Annual Presentation Prize Lunch.

Cycling clubs with their headquarters located in Sussex and neighbouring counties, and which are affiliated to Cycling Time Trials (CTT), are eligible for membership of the Association. The fee is a modest nominal £20 per annum.

Benefits of Affiliation

First claim members of affiliated clubs may compete for a variety of awards within a range of competitions – including the Sussex Best All Rounder, Sussex SPOCO, Sussex Championships and Sussex Championship Points Competition. These competitions are based on open events held partly or wholly in Sussex, and not solely Sussex CA events – consequently if your club has riders competing on Sussex courses then they could benefit from your club becoming a member.
