Another emphatic win for Steve Dennis on the A22.
Steve Dennis (East Grinstead CC) was in a class of his own on Sunday's 50, winning in 1:47:11.Continuing on from their own excellent string of results, Nick Dwyer, Rob Pelham and James Ryan claimed 2nd, 3rd and 5th respectively, the overall team prize and set a new club record.
Iain Brogden of Eastbourne Rovers broke up the Wanderers whitewash to claim 4th overall but Lewes had the fastest Ladies with Helen Millier and Debbie Evers and took 1st and 3rd in handicap placings, Stuart Jago of Worthing Excel separating Tom Baker and James Ryan.
Grinstead claimed 1st and 2nd fastest vets in the form of Dennis and Ted Boorman, 3rd spot going to Ben Fielden of A3crg.

All of these excellent times bode well for the National 50 miles time trial hosted by a3crg next weekend. The A3 is a classic drag strip course so fully expect to see some big new PB's. Steve Dennis is the course record holder and will have his work cut out against the cream of the country's testers, not least Michael Hutchinson.
