A new course record from Steve Dennis in a tightly fought competition.
In his first ever 50, Conall Yates of In-Gear-Quickvit Trainsharp came close claiming the top spot on Sunday's Championship 50.
His 1:49:43 held the lead for 15 minutes before East Grinstead's Steve Dennis toppled him with a new course record 1:48:56.
3rd spot went to Seb Ader with an excellent 1:52:37, closely followed by Rupert Burbidge (1:53:40) and Graeme Stirzaker 5th (1:56:28).
This tussle between In-Gear and ...a3crg eventualy went in the favour of In-Gear who got the team prize and a new team record. The trio of Yates, Burbidge and Jason Le Goff clocked 5:49:54, substantially improving on GS Stella's 5:58:11 set back in 1996.
Lizzie Brama was in a class of her own to claim the Fastest Lady with 2:10:00 with Emma Richard 2nd (2:20:01) and Lucy Ashdown-Parkes 3rd (2:23:48).
